Clarksdale Rapper Insane Is Ready To Takeover The Game

Insane has a flow that’s crazy! His rap influences include Jay-Z, Yo Gotti, Moneybagg Yo and Three 6 Mafia. When it comes to hip hop he says, ”Hip hop is a lifestyle to me. It’s a voice of the struggle, pain, happiness and goals you set to achieve.” The up and coming rapper is working day and night to create music that can last for decades. He is currently finishing up his upcoming album titled, ”Real Life” and also plans to release a new single titled, ”Stack It Up”. Right now, fans can stream or download his latest single, ”Zoned Out”. The single is considered to be the perfect party or club anthem, especially on a Friday or Saturday night. If you haven’t seen Insane perform live, you’re in luck. The rapper is set to hit the stage at the Clarksdale Civic Auditorium on August 11th. October's Very Own Becomes 1st Artist with 1 Billion Streams in Single Week

October's Very Own, Aubrey Graham aka Drake is succeeding all expectations for his latest album Scorpion. Drake is now the 1st artist to have 1 billion streams in a single week. Before Drake, Post Malone came pretty close with his latest album Beerbongs & Bentleys with just under 700 million streams. These numbers are crazy. Hands down he should have the No.1 album on the Billboard Hot 100 once all the numbers come in. This has me wondering is 1 Trillion streams possible? Time will tell.

Cardi B Tops BillBoard Hot 100 for 2nd Time

Cardi B continues to amaze me. Her road to stardom and success is really that of a storybook. Last year, She received her 1st Billboard Topping record with "Bodak Yellow" which to date is 6x Platinum. Being a new female rap artist and achieving a Top 100 on basically your first record is groundbreaking. Now she has reached the history books as her latest record "I LIKE IT" (FEAT. J BALVIN & BAD BUNNY) is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This makes Cardi B the first ever female rapper to have two #1 songs in their career. It's not easy as a female rap artist to do this. We have seen male counterparts such as Drake, Jay-Z, and Kanye West to name a few to achieve this feat. With other tracks like "Be Careful" still getting constant play on the radio, don't be surprised if she gets a 3rd track on hit #1.
